Mark S. Schiele

Dr. Schiele received his Bachelor of Science in biology at California State University, Sacramento, and earned his medical degree at the University of California, Davis. He completed an internal medicine residency at the University of California, San Francisco, and a three-year gastroenterology fellowship at Oregon Health & Science University. Dr. Schiele worked for three years in a multispecialty group before joining Gastroenterology Specialists of Oregon in 1998. He is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society and won an Ernest M. Gold Award for excellence in internal medicine in 1989.

Dr. Schiele is married and has two children. When not in the office, he enjoys playing basketball and golf, fly fishing, playing piano and gardening.
