Michael F. Sheffield

Dr. Sheffield received his Bachelor of Arts in biology from the University of California, Riverside. He attended medical school in Guadalajara, Mexico, and returned to the U.S. to finish his education. He earned his medical degree at the University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency. He completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. Dr. Sheffield joined Gastroenterology Specialists of Oregon in 1993.

Dr. Sheffield is married and has three children. His family is very involved in the community, schools and their church. Dr. Sheffield has volunteered his time with many hospital committees, including the Medical Executive Committee at Legacy Meridian Park Hospital.
